Adult women, I need some advice.

Here's my issue. I'm 5'3" and 110 pounds....I eat super healthy and I run. I don't do it because I'm trying to lose weight, I do it because I'm already high risk for a ton of health problems that run in my family. I'm tired of getting nasty comments from other women about my health habits--they usually ask me if I'm developing an eating disorder or say something along the lines of "you're a size 2, why do you care, you shouldn't care...". I'm 20, I know I shouldn't care what other people think, but I do, and it hurts my feelings. What kind of things can I say to stop comments like that? Or should I just ignore them and move on?

  1. I think its great that you take that good care of yourself, heck I could use some tips from you. But mostly the only reason why someone would make comments is because they are just jealous. I would say just ignore them, all there really doing is hurting themselves because in the end they are comparing them selves to you, but if you want to make quick comments back the only thing I can say is be cautious with your words or you may become them or say something you do not wish to say.

  2. ignore them, you can't look that thin if you are only 5'3". When I was in college I was 5'5" and 118 pounds and looked very healthy.

  3. Hang out with people who bring you up, not tear your down!
