My kids don`t get spanked , they get grounded when they have been naughty .

I spanked my son ONCE two years ago because he was going to try to climb something unstable. I smacked him on his butt to get his attention. He still reminds me about it to this day and he was three at the time. He is five now.

I never use spanking to punish.
