Adults with braces, how long did it take you to eat relitively normally after having your braces put on ?

I have read anything from 3 days to 2 months. Can adults who have braces please tell me how long it took you personally to be able to eat relitively normally after having your braces put on ?

I am 22 and it took me about 2 weeks to really be able to eat normally. I think my threshold for pain had become higher due to the painful spacers I had to wear for two, almost three, weeks. So, whatever amount of time it takes for you to eat normal with spacers, subtract that time by a week for braces.
