Advance Sailboat Corp. S16 (Sweet 16) information?

I recently purchased an Advance Sailboat Corp. "Sweet 16" sailboat for $25. She's in pretty good shape. Excellent shape for the money. Her hull number is 551. I'm trying to find out any information about:

-the history of the manufacturer

-approx. date of manufacture for my boat (maybe 1979?)

-where can I get printed information for the make and model?

-info. on their distribution and how many

I've already been to the s16.org site. It's ok. Had some info but I'd like more sources and more detailed information. Anything will help. Thanks!
