i have applied for AP and will not be getting any thing back from USCIS by end os Sep 08. I need to travel to India in Nov. have already booked my tickets. what do i do to accelerate my AP processing?

There is nothing you can do to accelerate your processing I am afraid! If you have your AP before you leave in November though that is fine. You are expecting it in September?

They ran a few months behind schedule with mine & I already had flights booked that I ended up not being able to take.  My choices were fly home & see family for Christmas and then have my immigration petitions considered abandoned or loose the tickets.  There was nothing me or my attorney could do to get them to stick within their timeframe per their processing dates bulletins. I know there is nothing you can do to accelerate this application, some other types yes but this no & they often run way behind on granting these too for no apparent reason. They will not even accelerate this processes for you to go home & see a dying relative, it’s harsh!

You should be fine, if you are expecting something from them by end of September/beginning of October that still give them about a month of late time before you are due to leave for India. Hope that puts your mind at rest somewhat!

I have included their processing dates bulletins that come from 4 different service centers. Check with the service center that your application was submitted through to see your approximate date of completion.
