Question:

Advanced Digestion Solution - a scam or good product?

I'm looking for an alternative to medicine such as Prilosec, Prevacid, and Nexium. I found Advanced Digestion Solution (long sales page: http://www.healthresources.net/landing/advdigestion/index.asp )

Looking in Google, I can't find any reviews, and it looks like they're kind of spammy with marketing. I'm almost desperate to find something else, and if the claims they're making are true (who knows?) then it would be a great product. Does anybody have experience with them?

  1. This sounds like a "between a rock and a hard place" kind of inquiry.  Medical science has done wonders in the field of gastrointestinal health BUT there are still some gaps.  And, these gaps can be quite large especially if you're the one "inside the gap!"

Drugs out in the marketplace are, by and large, very thoroughly tested before they are put out there for the doctors to prescribe for their patients.

"Natural or herbal" products are not, at least to my knowledge, tested as are pharmaceutical drugs.  So, I think you may be buying a "pig in a poke" or it may really help you.  It ends up as a very tough decision.

Perhaps you should consult with a good medical doctor who also is knowledgable in "alternative" medicine.  They are out there but they might be a little hard to find.  Try the "Yellow Pages" and you might see a listing (or two) of a doctor who uses "alternative" medicine.

    Good luck with your "research!"

  2. All these claims seem to be the standard ones made for multi-strain probiotic tablets, so I am pretty sure that is what they are actually selling.

If you wanted to try it, you would probably be better getting a brand of probiotic that has been proven effective, rather than an unknown one like this. There is a list of tested ones at the bottom of this document.

When I took a probiotic called Multibionta, it did pretty much what this website is claiming. However I never had any of these  problems so bad that I needed any prescription medicines.
