  1. healthy for the baby, saggy boobies??

im sure it means aswelll (for the disadvantages) that you cant eat certain foods.. im not sure what foods though, sorry x

  2. I don't think there are any disadvantages (breastfeeding does NOT give you saggy b***s, pregnancy does).

If there are any disadvantages, it's worth it!!

  3. advantage, you know what your baby is eating

    disadvantage, hubby gets jealous

  4. hers two websites i found on the advantages and disadvantages

    http://www.breastfeeding.com/all_about/a...

    http://www.medicinenet.com/breastfeeding...

and  you don't get saggy breast from breastfeeding  it actually  strengthens the mussels in your b*****s

  5. I breastfed my babies, because then if I wanted to stay out a little longer or my errands took longer, I didn't have to worry about not having another bottle.  I didn't have to wash 12 bottles a day (they are a pain!).  Getting the hang of nursing was a challenge the first time, but it was such a time saver, and it was free.  Formula is expensive!

  6. Advantages - it's free, shifts pregnancy weight, best for baby.

Disadvantages - possible sore nipples/leaking, mum doing all the feeds, social isolation if you're not confident to do it in public areas (that was me!),not as easy to establish a routine.

  7. Advantages, good for baby, gives good immunity, and you can see the weight pile on babe in the early days if your milk is good.  Also, it's lovely and intimate between you and baby to hold them so close and feed them yourself.  I don't know if it was because I was feeding myself, but, he hardly ever had reflux.

Disadvantages?  If you forget which breast you fed off last, you aren't releasing milk enough from the other breast, and you can potentially get mastitis, which is blooming awful!

Also, I found that after a few months, I think about 4, my baby was waking more and more frequently because he wasn't getting enough nutrition from me, and had to switch to bottles.

It really is up to you, which you choose,

  8. reduces the risk of breast cancer, strengthens your babies immune system and reduces the risk of diseases, think it might also reduce the risk of diabetes but dont quote me on that. it also strengthens the mother-child bond.  there are loads of arguements for both sides though, it really just comes down to what you feel is best for you and your child

    good luck
