Lots of choices. One price that you are not stuck with one entree. You can try out all the dishes to your hearts content!

Only rule of thumb is try out a teaspoon or if really looks good a tablespoon of each course. Once you have finished trying almost everything in each section like this, you will find you have done just that, tried almost everything!

Price, no waiting for food to comes out, lots of selection.

But there's far more cons than pro i think (Unfresh food, many unheathly dish, crowded, easily get obese this way, addicted)

It is cheaper for the restaurant. They can reuse the food from peoples plates and even empty the trash or toilets into those stainless steel pans.

For a picky eater, its the chance to eat only what I like.  Especially since I've been living in Europe and not had a meal from an American Chinese restaurant.

ALL YOU CAN EAT.... I NEVER REALLY LIKED THEM TILL NOW CAUSE I AM PREGO LOL.... OTHER THEN THAT YOU JUST STUFF YOURSELF AND GET FAT

i think the advantages of buffet menu is the number of type of food available... despite the fact that the food is a bit more unhealthy. :) :P
