Advantages to turning 18?

i am tunring 18 in 3 months and I want to no whats so special about it? I live in the US and all I know is you can vote, by cigs, and lottery tickets. Am I forgetting anything? What else can I do?

drive a car wiht no parents n the car, you do your taxes,go to concerts that are only 18 and up, get married, dont have to rely on parents for things that require someone 18 or over, and other things that i happen to know but would sound wierd.
