Advent 5401. I've downloaded itunes onto my Advent 5401 and for some reason it won't let me burn

I've downloaded itunes onto my Advent 5401 and for some reason it won't let me burn discs. It keeps ejecting. I would put it onto my other computer but I will lose all my purchases as my ipod is synched with the Advent. Any help would be much appreciated. It's driving me crazy.
