  1. Well if it's 3Gb download speed then it is possible but not likely to ever reach that speed since the speed depends on what site you're on, their download speed and how busy they are.


  2. IF someone is advertising a 3GB DSL line, they are not telling the truth! (Unless that is the DATA CAP! which means you can only download 3gb before paying more!)

    Even with two bonded ADSL2+ lines the maximum throughput is only 48mbs!  Standard ADSL2+ has a theoretical max of 24mbs so even 1GB is not possible.

    BE VERY CAREFUL that the 3gb is not a bandwidth usage limit!!! THAT is VERY LOW! So check the DSL SPEED and look for a plan that allows unlimited download or the highest amount of data cap!

  3. That will never happen,any site puts a limit on download speed to keep their servers from being overloaded.

  4. I’m guessing the DSL speed you are referring to is 3 Mbps (about 300 KBps).  This connection will allow you to download a 4 MB MP3 file in about 14 seconds (rough calculations…).
