Advertising tips for a high school newpaper?

my high school newpaper is doin fairly well but we could work on doin better with our advertising. any suggestions?

you could try to work out some specials for your school to get ads for your paper (discounts at theaters, game packages bowling alleys, clothing stores, and T.V. & radio stations businesses)

Set up a web site specifically for your school paper and promote it.

Try and include something that isn't newsy. You could do a photo section where you just go around the school and snap silly photos of everyone. Or you could do something else completely silly and trivial.That may help people who don't want to read through the newspaper be able to simply "look at the pictures" for lack of a better term.

Try changing the format of the front cover.
