Hi All

I have a range of really good value for money Laptop and desktop computers. Some are SUB £200 and would be perfect for Students. MY question is what is the best way to reach students with these computers.

  1. Many ways but never stick to one way.

    I suggest:

1] Student hang outs online: Myspace, Facebook, Hi5,Bebo.

    2] Word of mouth

3] Flyers hand out to them on campus during lunch / breaks etc.

4] Great places online like http://www.sellit-right.com where you can advertise AND earn at the same time.

  2. Phone around all the pubs near the uni's colleges you want to target, find out which sells the cheapest beer - and they will ALL be in there - captive audience!

  3. One would imagine that students go to lectures, and there are notice boards at the places where students go to lectures.  They also go to unions, and union bars, where there are notice boards.  There are magazines, called "The Student" and the like, printed on campus.   Some students use the university library.  Some students stay in student halls of residence.

I expect that the university itself might help if you have genuine, large volume of computers, sub £200 that are not useless for their requirements.

You could of course, go to them with a sample.

  4. try going on to thestudentroom.com..............its where everyone who is in education goes into.
