Advice? I've been running a lot this week and last to prepare for a small 5 km race on Sunday.?

Do you have any advice on how to prepare and heal my sore legs over the next two days?

I think I can take Friday and Saturday off by not running, but any other tips?

  1. i would not take friday or saturday off.  resting like that before a race will hurt your performance.  I would do an easy 3 miles on both days    good luck


  2. Unlike the other said, I would run real easy on Fri. (nothing more than 4 Mi.) and just leg your legs rest and heal on Sat. drink plenty of water as well.  Then make sure ya stretch good before the race starts on Sunday.......I've had some good race results with sore legs, even taking the day off before!
