Advice about Grapevine?

Question

I have a struggling Grapevine. It is approx 30 years old. For past 5 yrs serious mildew has ruined every crop.

I have tried several methods to cure what I think is mildew. I intend to treat for mildew start of next Spring before growth spurt but would appreciate it if anyone can answer the following for me:

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to what else I can do and whether or not it is likely to recover.

Rather than pay for info/books from a foreign country perhaps you may like to try -

1. local garden centre

2. local library Reference Section

Both will offer freely information & guidance.
