Advice about an interview.......?

I had a job interview on wednesday... after the interview the interviewer said he would call me and let me know.. He has not called yet.. My question is should i ring him or would i seem too desperate... Any advice please

  1. If you have your interviewer's email address, write off a quick thank you note, something like this:

    It was a pleasure speaking with you on Wednesday and I wanted to thank you for taking the time to meet with me about the XYZ position.  Please feel free to contact me at 555-555-5555 or by email.  I look forward to hearing from you soon.


  2. You should ALWAYS call three days after an interview and say..."This is (your name).  Thank you for taking the time to meet with me on Wednesday, it was a pleasure to talk with you.  I am calling to see where you are in the hiring process for (the position you applied for)...Good Luck!

  3. I would send a note thanking him for giving you the interview. End it by saying that you are looking forward to working for the firm and hope to hear from him soon.

  4. It's not too soon. Call him. He'll appreciate that you took initiative. and for future reference, ask for a an employer's card and send out a thank you note the following day.
