Question:

Advice about buying a shed please....?

I would like to buy a shed approx 6 foot by 4/5 foot base. It needs to be low maintenance, easy assemble, fire and rodent proof and with plenty of shelfing. If it looks nice, that would be great too. Has anyone bought one recently and what are your thoughts about it?

  1. i really really like royal sheds.  you pay a little more but you also get a lot more.  they are made of a polyvinyl that is insulated.  you can add things like rafters for storage or windows.

if i were in the market for a shed id buy a royal

  2. Dear god in heaven.

Go to Homebase or B&Q and ask the guys there and actually have a look at them standing.  Or a big garden centre where they are all on display and say 'I'll have that one please'.

    Easy.  When you know how.

  3. First of all don't go to Homebase, they went out of business about 1996. Go to Lowe's or Home Depot. Both has a large display on sheds. Arrow, Tuff shed are good. Byee

  4. I bought one a year ago from a company local to me in Devon to own specifications.Called TCM sheds.Beautifully made & does not look like a DIY centre shed which are often quite rough & badly put together. This one delivered & put together by makers.Mine is a bit larger than yours but they would make any size, windows where you wanted etc.Cost me £350 but will last a heck of a lot longer then lesser makes Also looks so good in garden, not just utilitarian,& even neighbours don't mind looking at it.
