  1. the contacts weren't sitting properly on your eye, or the contact doesn't fit the curve of your eye. make another appointment with your optometrist who will check these two things.

when you put the contact in make sure the contact is the right way out- like not inside out. put it on your index finger and hold it up to eye level. it should look like a rimless bowl. if it slightly flicks away at the top, then its inside out.

if the lenses are sitting properly on your eye then you shouldnt feel s thing.

  2. A few things.

wash your hands before you put them in

make sure your eye or the contact isnt dry

make sure the contact is the right way...looks like a bowl

then what i do cuz sometimes there irritating when i first put them in is i dont put in directly on my the colored part of me eye i put it to the side and kinda move it around until it feels comfortable then i put it closer to the colored part of my eye and it gradually goes on it

  3. It is a bit difficult at first...but you just have to make up your mind whether you want to wear them or not.

Blinking IS a controllable reflex, you just have to stop doing it until the lens is in there.

Until you can force yourself to stop blinking, you will never get them in, it's really that simple.

Just think about what you are doing and concentrate...

  4. i swear i was the same way. well, keep practicing at it, but take breaks cuz u don't want to irritate your eye so much. after a while, well for me, 4 hours, you could better control your reflex. make sure you hold your upper eyelid firmly. and make sure when you do put your contact in, that you have enough room for it to fit so try tilting your head down and looking up, i find this works better for me since watching your finger come at your eye isn't so enjoyable. be patient. ur contacts don't hurt when you put them in unless they're in wrong or something is in it. make sure to blink after it is centered in your eye and bam, voila.
