my rabbit has been not well recently.

she has lost alot of weight for no reason.

she is at the vet getting treatment etc

she is going back to the vets 2 weeks today and i really want to have gained a little bit of weight as she is under weight.

the last time she was at the vets she had lost even more weigh than the time before.

and if we go bak and she has lost anymore weight then I'm not sure what will happen.

is there such things as fatty veg ? that rabbits shoud not have alot of ?

i would like to give her some of that to help her gain weight.

thanks

  1. feed her rabbit pelets!

  2. I hope she is on a pellet diet? You aren't justfeeding her veggies are you. if so, that is why she is loosing weight. She is not getting the calories from the alfalfa pellets she needs. To get her back on track you can get some FastTrac. It is in a tube that you geed them. It will help her get her weight back. It will take a few days but it will make a huge difference. You can also give her calf mana pellets with her alfalfa pellets. NO MORE VEGGIES! Oats and bread will help also, those are the only treats you can give her

  3. Has she been eating normally??

If not, there might be something wrong with her digestive system (gut stasis).
