Advice about nose piercings?

Question

If you're just going to tell me you think they're gross, that's nice but don't answer. I might be able to convince my mom about me getting it done, she hasn't flat out refused. I have my belly button done and that turned out perfect, barely hurt at all. I know I need to go to a professional and I did all my research and I know to clean it right, blah blah. Just give me opinions, anything? Best from people with experience?

i got my nose pierced and i absolutely loved it, but it fell out the same night i got it done =(  i plan on getting it done again whenever i leave the job im at.  go for it, nose piercings are cute

nose piercings are NOT gross!

convincing your mom probably might be the easiest part since the healing and the risk of infections will keep your worried. And if it does get infected... you will probably have to take it out and nothing looks grosser than a blue or a purple piercing. I love nose piercings but yeah... they are kind of a drag. Hey, if you're willing to look after it EXTREMELY well... by all means get it done!

I love nose piercings! It doesn't hurt at all as long as you follow instructions! Show your mom websites on the internet and convince her!

well i had my nose pierced at the grand old age of 45 much to my husbands disgust lol.but i loved it.it didn't hurt but made me jump and tears sprang from my eyes.you have to keep the original one in for 6 weeks so that the hole heals well.i bought the most beautiful tiniest diamond nose stud from argus for £9.99 i was working on checkouts at the time and i had lots of compliments from customers saying how pretty it looked.so if i was you love tell your mum that you will get a discreet stud like mine i am sure she will agree.good luck.i would like another but i am 55 now i think thats too old plus hubby would have a fit with his leg up lol.

Find some information on the internet about it and show her , my sister had it done >:) or you could just have one thing on ur christmas list ,,, than wat else would she get u haha luck :) x

when i had my done it felt like nothing but dont go with eyeliner on lol ur eyes will water and youll have panda eyes it happend to me

it feels like a small pinch

I've had my nose pierced for 12 years now and i love it!  When i got it done i jumped a bit, one eye watered for a few minutes and my nose throbbed for about an hour. That was it, no more pain. Kept it clean, twisted it once a day, just like you do when you get your ears pierced. It hurt a lot less than getting my ears pierced!

I've had it for 12 years and I've never had problems with it. I Just have to give you an adivce: don't do it like a piercing (I mean with the big needle They use to do it) because the hole would be too big (like mine) but make they do it with that kind of pistol they se to do holes in the ears, it will be more little and nice. Sorry for my english...ciao
