  2. I recommend you B&B "Alle Rondini" which is really nice and not expensive.

  3. As all other said, venice is not a cheap city and you may need some extra money for accommodation.

But I can suggest you to select alternative options, if you are so budget concern, Mestre, Lido, Treviso , padova and other near by cities are 50% lesser than main island venice. If you plan to visit venice for more than 3 days and you can select this option well and you can enjoy venice trip too. coz travelling by train, or bus  from those cities to veince also nice experience for you

    great trip

  4. I live about two hours from Venice. When I stay overnight there, I use http://en.venere.com/hotels_venice/?ref=... to find a hotel. You can sort by location in the city, price, and guest ratings and read reviews by past guests.

Venice is not cheap, but you can find some bargains. Usually these will be one and two star places that are further from Piazza San Marco, but Venice is easily walkable and there are day tickets (or longer) available for the vaparetto.

For cheaper hotel options, you might also check the Hotels in Venetian Riviera and Surroundings of Venice links on Venere. Hotels are less expensive in places like Lido di Jesolo and the beach is nice. You can take the boat to get into Venice itself.

  5. We stayed at this place and it was cheaper than all the others we looked at but still a really lovely room and we are planning on going back. I loved Venice! http://hotels.lastminute.com/hotels/sele...

  6. Try www.tripadvisor.com they will have info on accomodation all over the World with prices, star ratings and comments from other members who have stayed there, it's a very useful site.
