Hi everyone. Next Saturday (the 23rd), I'm going to be auditioning for the Nutcracker and I was hoping someone had some helpful advice. This is my second dance related audition and I'm hoping to get the part of either Drummer doll, Mouse Queen, or Merliton or Russian lead. Last year I auditioned and got very minor parts. I think my nerves got to me. All advice will be appreciated =] Thanks!

  1. Stretch!!!!

Don't just mark a step, do it full out.

Also, alot of our girls when they get tired dance with there mouth open for air, DON'T DO THAT!

    I've been-

Party Girl,Solider,Snow,Clara/Marie,Flower,Spa... understudies for each one.

  2. think back to what you had trouble with last year and work on those so you will be better at them this year.
