I am currently in the process of organizing an upcoming Car Show - which will be held in late September or early October to raise money for our county's Shop with a Cop program.. I've never done anything like this before, but have some really great ideas. I just want to know what ideas, advice, or suggestions anyone could give me from their own past experiences.
Currently I'm working on contacting many of the Car Clubs located in Indiana; I believe if I contact them personally, I may get a higher turnout. I'm planning on either having food donated and cooking it ourselves, or if we are going to have a pretty big turnout have our local Legion cook the food and charge their own prices.
I've also thought of some ideas for kids activities - so they don't get horribly bored and the parents can enjoy themselves! I've thought of a Coloring Contest, car pictures of course, and maybe Pumpkin painting since it will be close to Halloween!
