Can anyone tell how in the world I'm am supposed to go to parties when my curfew is 11:30?

I am 16 years old with strict parents.

How am I ever supposed to learn responsibility if I'm never given the opportunity to prove it?

Can someone tell me what to do?

  1.   Go to parties and obey the curfew, maybe three times, and they will think you are doing so well, they might agree to extend it.  Trust is what counts.

  2. I'm sure parties get over by that time and if they don't, you will leave when you are supposed to.

sorry, mom and dad's house, their rules!!!

  3. "be innocent of evil but wise about what is good".going to to parties does NOT make a person responsible. in fact, going to parties usually makes a person become irresponsible. bless you.

  4. 11:30? Your parents are lenient! Some teens have a curfew of 7!

    Geez!

  5. WELL, I KNOW YOU DON'T OR MAY NOT WANT TO HEAR THIS BUT IT IS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY, YOU WILL HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO HAND OUT LATE OR NOT COME HOME AT ALL. IF YOU SAY YOUR PARENTS WERE STRICT.... SO WERE MINE AND LET ME TELL YOU I COULD NOT SEE WHAT THEY WERE DOING AT THE TIME NEITHER. MY ADVICE WOULD BE TO START WITH ASKING FOR LITTLE EXTENTIONS LIKE 11:45 OR 12 AM FIRST. THEN WHEN THEY GIVE THE GO AHEAD TRY TO COME HOME A LITTLE EARLIER THAN EXPECTED JUST TO LET THEM KNOW YOU TAKE WHAT THEY SAY TO HEART.  THEN, IF THAT DOESN'T WORK GO OUT AND MAKE SURE YOUR HOME BY 11:30 FOR A WHILE. AFTER A COUPLE OF TRIAL TIMES OF COMING HOME " ON TIME" ASK FOR A LITTLE EXTENTION. SEE WHAT THEY SAY. ARE YOUR GRADES GOOD? LOOK AT THINGS AT HOME THAT CAN BE DONE, THAT YOU DON'T NORMALLY DO. THIS WILL SHOW RESPONSIBILITY AT HOME, WHICH WILL THUS LEAD TO MORE "FREEDOM" ....... GOOD LUCK

  6. your 16, if you have to go home by 11:30 you don't have enough time to go to parties, get drunk, smoke some weed and have unprotected s*x.  At least that's how your parents see it

  7. Haha!  You think your parents are strict?! My parents wouldn't even let me go to parties.  And whenever I go somewhere, I had to come home before 8p.m.!  Just obey their rules.  You're lucky to even be able to go to late night parties.

  8. just dont come home at 11.30... i mean what can ur parents do if u rebel? ground u... then just go out any way... if they take the car get a ride or bike
