Question:

Advice for carrying a woman's bike?

I have a bike with a woman's frame and I'm looking for advice about how to carry it up and down stairs etc. If it had a men's frame, I could use my shoulder and I've tried to hook the seat on my shoulder but it doesn't work. Your help is appreciated! THANKS

  1. Well, the obvious way is the hold onto the top tube and lift, but if you want some way to hold the weight on your shoulder I'd suggest making/buying a wide strap that can be clipped/velcroed between the stem and where the top tubeintersects the downtube. By adjusting the length you can create a sling that would allow the weight to be borne by your shoulder.

    Hope that helps.
