Advice for getting a job...?

So I filled out an application for a nearby Starbucks on Sunday, and the store employees told me that the manager was going to be in on Tuesday. So I got their phone ## and called on Tuesday. I spoke to the manager but the place was packed--i could hear it--and she told me to call back on Wednesday around the same time to maybe discuss an interview. So i called on Wednesday, and she was there, she just wasn't at the station when i called so we couldn't discuss anything. One of her employees asked for my name and said that she would inform her that i called so i thanked them and hung up. My question is, what should i do next? I know i have to be persistant to get the job, but i don't want to be annoying. Should i call them back and see if she's there?...or...Ugh! I really need a job. Haha.

  1. Call back just em u really intrested!!

  2. Call again, but this time try to call at a time you know the place isn't packed. like 10am or 2pm.  If she isn't in again, ask if she could return your call, if she doesn't I would move on.  She already has your application if or when they are ready to interview candidates, if they are interested she will call.

It's good to follow up, but too many calls becomes annoying, if you leave a message the second time and doesn't call she may not be ready to look at candidates yet.
