  1. my son is the exact same way. encourage him but dont push him too hard or it will just slow him down. he'll go when he's ready. i put cherios or frootloops in the potty and/or reward him with a small piece of candy when he goes. we also make a huge deal out of it (only at firt tho) "yay! elijah went potty! what a big boy! good job! as far as goin poo i dont have a clue mine wont go either

  2. tell him big boys don't go pee-pee or p**p-p**p in there pants, but u do so u r not a big boy... maybe wait an extra 5 minutes to change him, expecially is he hates being soiled because the extra time with it stuck in his pull ups will motivate him to go on the potty... or used the "bottom half naked" method because he is #1 trained then if he does let a p**p out on the floor you just give him a big paper towel and say "pick up your mess" (p**p) "and put it where it belongs" (potty)... he won't want to do that very long so one or both will get him trained very fast...

jandismo... is telling you to lie to your child

Anonymou... is saying "i don't know"

  3. For my son I told him that when he would go  #2 on the potty he could call Mickey Mouse and tell him what a big boy he was.  Mickey Mouse was a relative that I called ahead of time and asked if it would be ok.  My son loved this and couldn't wait to call him.  After he started going regularly Mickey Mouse sent him stickers and a note that said he was so proud of him and what a big boy he was.   This worked like a charm and he tells everyone that he got to talk to Mickey.      You could also tell him that after he goes and flushes you will change the water colors.  Put a few drops of food coloring in the water and then flush so it wont stain the toilet.
