Advice for someone who is about to go to highschool????

Ok i don't mean to sound mean but you are the lowest on the food chain. Main thing is don't do anything to make the upperclassmen mad and you'll be okay. All the boys are pervs looking for one thing. All the girls are brats always ready to argue. But be yourself and have fun. (;

definately be yourself, dont be fake. freshmen friday doesnt exist. dont try to fit in with people who arent like you, then you'll make yourself look bad in front of them. just be yourself and you'll make new friends and keep some old ones. high school goes by fast and you'll have a blast!

Are any of your classmates from middle school / junior high attending this same school?  Do you have any older friends / classmates who were freshmen at this high school in the last year of two?  If so, what advice did they give you?  

The reality is the previous advice given is probably the best.  Be yourself, use your head, and plan on having a great adventure.

Just be yourself, choose your friends (new) wisely. study and keep up with your schoolwork and projects. But most of all have fun!

Just be yourself. There is alot of peer pressure in high school. Pick your friends carefully and don't lose sight of your beliefs just to be popular.  You will gain plenty of experience just watching other kids get high and pregnant.

Study hard. Get and stay organized. Choose good people to be around you and stay away from gossip. Just like in court...everything you say can and will be used against you.

Don't be too shy to participate in various school activities. You are working toward a college scholarship so learn to organize your time and make the most of your four years.

Sure you can have plenty of fun while you are there but don't forget that these four years are serious business.
