Advice for starting a community dance team?

I was thinking about starting a community dance team but do i have to register with the USDA? Or could i just throw together a group of people and compeat?

It depends on where you are competing. If you are just battling people in the community, in a park, on the street, etc., then no, you don't need to register. But if you plan on traveling to actual competitions, they almost always require you to be registered! Hope this helps!
