I have midterms comingup in a week and I have a hard time sticking to something without getting distracted. Any study ideas that can help get an A on the midterms and get some good studying in so I can be prepared?

thanks

  1. I would gather all of your notes from the class, your textbook, your study guides, your previous tests or quizzes... anything the teacher has told you will be important to use to review.  I would then sit in a comfortable chair in a well lit room at a table or a desk.  I would not play music because that might be a source of distraction for you.  I would not have a TV playing or a computer near you either.

Ask yourself questions that your teacher might have hinted could be on the midterm.  Review reading important sections in the textbook.  Review your notes from the class lectures.  Go over what you got wrong on previous tests and make sure you could answer those questions right if asked again.

  2. the only way i get studying done is by going to the library...it is too crazy at my house to try and focus...just make sure you study in a quiet enviornment and dont focus too much on one subject...if you are doing well in a subject you dont have to study as much in that subject.....good luck! :)

  3. I always listen to music, or turn on something boring on tv. Sometimes i make index card and highlight the important things with bright highlighters to keep my attention on the cards. Or every half hour or hour to take a fifteen minute break to do whatever i want to tale a break. Good luck on your midterm.
