  1. Put your money away in Premium Bonds and you could get your money for a house .Prices vary from area to area now's the time to buy with house prices low.

  2. I've only been looking into a little for myself for the last few months, so to be honest don't really know that much, but on the whole moving out and finding you're own place, we were looking at a £15,000 deposit for either 25 or 35 years on a first time buyers mortgage of £120,000 and that was coming in at about £700/month in repayments. Noting, thats for buying a house, not for developing.

And on the answer of what makes living without parents so hard at your age (keeping in mind I'm 19, and moved out at 18 to rent a place with my partner) the bill paying is easy - its the actual house work! There can be times we both sit and look at the washing up and wish our parents would do it like they used to, or how you missed coming home to dinner being cooked (even if you didnt like your mum/dads cooking), or having to clean the bathroom often, and remember to wash clothes in time to dry before work. And the whole, have I locked the front door, or did I close the window when I left which you wouldn't have thought of before...

Yes, it probably doesn't sound all too bad when you're enthusiastic about it, and think well I do most them as chores anyway, but after a couple of months of it, it does get a bit old and you just wish your parents would do it once in a while!

  3. I agree with the above reply.

  4. Go see a mortgage adviser, a good independent one can sort you out even if you ain't got the money yet, they can look at how you are saving and what you can really afford and when
