  1. Rail and Sail is a very inexpensive way to go, either single or return. Return is simply double the single price. The time it takes is the only draw back, but if your not in a rush, its really nice. However for foot passengers, some date very soon the boats all go into dry dock for 30 days every year. Though cars can travel throughout.

Check either Irish Ferries or Stena Line. One way is about £26. Euston Station London on Virgin Trains.

  2. You'll need both modes of transport, unless you fly.

  3. Hi, take a look at Ryanair they have some amazing offers on at the moment, if they fly from your local airport then you will get a good deal.  I am going in January and i got flights for £20 return, that's with all the airport taxes in. I thought i had a good deal until they put up their December January Sale and i could have got it for £10 return with everything in. Que Sera. Have a great stay.
