Advice needed for grand theft auto san andreas?

when you play san andreas,do you need to take all the territory before completing the missions and opening up the bridge to san fierro,my son didnt take all the territory first and now he has opened up the first bridge,he has lost everything,all the houses he got are gone and the grove has now been taken over too by the ballis gang.is this what usually happens?has anyone got any hints and tips for playing th e game

  1. In san andreas he can just complete the missions he needs too. whether or not he takes them all, when he goes to another city the other gangs are still gonna wanna take his territory. grove street is the least of his worries.  let him keep completing missions. close to the end of the game u have to go back to grove street to get ur bro out of jail. CJ ends up staying there and the remaining missions are basically taking grove street back and the rest of your hood. And grove unites with the cholo's to take on the ballas. On the last mission where the city goes into a riot.  Hope that helps

  6. Yes you loose all your territories when the Tenpenny takes you out to the desert  

    You get to win them back later

    The best tip is explore - and have fun finding all the mini games

    One tip -- when Driving School gets unlocked, he should do all the lessons, it unlocks other missions.  Or He will be roaming around with no missions to be done.
