Question:

Advice needed on a good video maker?

So, i had the Windows Movie Maker but it's shutting down all the time. I need to lower my hardware acceleration which i totally refuse to do. So, any suggestions about a good video maker are gratefully appreciated. I need a good one, (preferably free!), for example does the windows live maker requires this change? Or anything else. Really. Thanks in advance!

  1. You're not going to get anything better than WMM without spending money - Sony's Vegas Movie Studio is a good choice and doesn't care what sort of graphics card you're using.  But why not just lower the hardware acceleration - that's what it's there for.  You can always increase it once you've finished editing.

  2. If you want a more advanced video editing program for Windows that can use your hardware acceleration, try Sony Vegas Pro or Avid's Pinnacle Studio.  Both are available for $100.  Other programs are available; such as: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_vid...

  3. power director is amazing i use it for all of my videos that my friends and i make
