  1. Visit:

    http://plasmaorlcd.co.uk

This has sections on knowing what to look for when buying an HDTV and has a list of some of the best value deals.

The best tv is the Pioneer Kuro Plasma but it costs close to £3000. Don't worry though you don't need to spend this much money to get a really great tv. In short if you want a big screen and have hd then go for a Plasma (panasonic is good for Plasmas). If you want less than 42" then go for LCD. Samsung do some great LCDs.

    Hope that helps!

  2. look at the Dixon's site they have some good deals there. like a 32  inch Toshiba for 399.99

  3. LCD is less expensive and gives all anyone needs. I would, in this day and age , not worry about the make too much. Toshiba is highly rated but all makes seem to work well now - almost everything is made in China. Be careful about the HD ready. It is said with that many of these the HD facility will not be compatible with the system when this format comes into general usage.

  4. I think LCD is best. we have a Philips 46inch LCD. Plasma are good but i was worried about when the time comes to get it re-gassed. A plasma TV will need re-gassing after a few years and god knows how much company's will charge for that. Pioneer is a good make too. Find a TV you like then go on-line to a price comparison site to find the best price.

  5. Check the sales fugure of brands. Go through the viewers' views about the TV models in web site.  Both Plasma and LCD are having there own goods and bads. Its upto you to decide.  Better buy an advanced version of LCD than Plasma.
