Advice on applying to college??

I'm a sophomore in high school.. and really concerned about my grades. I've been taking all AP class and am involved in a lot of extracurricular activities. I'm also really interested in possibly playing volleyball in college. As far as colleges go I think I want to attend either University of Penn., Harvard, Yale, or possibly USC. Being only a sophomore, do you think I am to young to be thinking about college, or should I begin contacting colleges?

  1. Your not too young. Like Linda said "its fantastic".

But don't forget, these schools are extremely competitive. You have to show them that you are a promising student. What I mean is that you have what it takes to excel in their college as well as in life. You must show them that you will succedd.

I know someone around your age who started writing a book. He is currently in the proccess of finishing it. His plan is to have it published and then hand it to the colleges along with his application. I know this is going overboard, but it might work (unless his book is just c**p).

If you really really want to (i mean desperate) get into harvard, yale, etc try writing a book and get it published. Go to a local college and i'm sure some one will help. You don;t have to do this. This show promise

  2. No, I think it is fantastic that you are thinking about it now!  You can go to the schools' websites to find out information. You can also plan to visit the different campuses as well.  Good Luck!
