Question:

Advice on batteries for digital cam? I'm looking at Duracell Procell & Energeriser Industrial right now...?

I'm tired of my batteries dying after running the video for just 5 minutes or so, so I want something GOOD.

Anyone have experience with either of these brands, or others that they'd recommend?

  1. Check if your camera is compatible with NIMH (Nickel-Metal Hydride) batteries, they are rechargeable. And you can take a whole lot of shots and hours of video.

  2. Rechargeable batteries will last 20-30 times longer than even the best regular batteries.  Buy a 4-battery recharger and 8 batteries ($20-25 total) and you will be set for the next year.  (I would recommend numbering your batteries in pairs and always using and charging the pair together so that you know they are equally charged and equally worn down.)
