I'm gonna be buying two fat-tailed geckos male and female , i wanna try and breed them , but i don't know how to do it i know they need a cold period around october/november so iv herd don't feed them or mist them just provide water so iv herd i don't know if its true . The two I'm buying have had eggs before same two geckos dose this mean i can keep them both together and at the moment i plan to keep them on aspen bedding for snakes and small wood chippings . i don't know if this is ok . if it is how much should i have for them so the female can dig to lay . Also what do i do about the eggs when they are laid do i take them out and put them in some kind of tub if so what flooring and how hot should i make it ..... This is my 1st time breeding reptiles and we all have to start some where and I'm not doing this to make money either

  1. keep as male and female together year round, and you keep them right, you get eggs. it really is that simple. you wont be able to stop them from breeding if you keep them together year round. no tricks needed. get a good book on geckos to go over the finer aspects of incubation of eggs good luck!
