Question:

Advice on finding an apartment in Brisbane? Any suggestions!??

My partner and I are looking for a 2 room apartment in any of the following suburbs: East Brisbane/West End/Greenslopes/Wooloongabba/Dutton Park/Annerley/Kangaroo Point Anywhere that is within the public transport 2 zone sphere. Neither of us own cars, and work in the city and valley, so buses are a must.

Any advice on good real estate agents, house sitting, ANYTHING?

  2. craigslist.com

  3. go to http://www.realestate.com.au/ you will be able to search for rental properties (or places for sale if you wish) in whatever areas you want.  Also have a look at the maps for each rental property - you will be able to see how close a train line is to the place.  Also try looking noth a little - there are places a little cheaper and still close to the city and transport.  (Still in zone 2)  Places like clayfield, wooloowin, etc.

Just make sure you get in quick.  And make sure you look at the place before signing anything... pictures are very different to the real thing.
