  1. Copley Sq Library, Museum of Fine Arts

  2. Do you mean Boston or Greater Boston b/c Greater Boston actually means the suburbs like Newton, Watertown, Brookline, Needham, Wellesley, Dedham, etc.  All these people are giving you answers that are IN Boston so if you're actually looking for Greater Boston, I can help! :)

    Good places with outdoor tables:

-Starbucks on Needham St in Newton

-Any Panera Bread restaurant (Highland Ave in Needham, Rte 1 in Dedham, etc.)

-Fresh City on Needham St in Newton

Actually that's all I can think of right now, but I know there are tons more so I'll edit if I think of more.

  3. North End coffee shops

    South End Coffee shops/cafes

Take a ride out to Walden Pond and have a picnic an study there (put your coffee in a thermos)

Brookline Village has some nice little cafes and outdoor shops

  4. You could go to the Boston Common...plenty of places to relax there...or go to Columbus Park down by the Harbor..usually nice and cool down there and close to Fanueil Hall and the North End..
