  1. Heres a few to get started

    1.         take three ball in one corner, 1, 2, 3. set them in order of 1, 3, 2 and shoot at the opposite corner pocket.shoot the ball is numerical order(actually as long as you shoot the one on teh left first and the one on the right secon followed by the center one it doesnt really matter. Now the trick of theis is is to pocket the ball is the reverse order you hit them.

    2.        Place an object ball and a cue ball right next to each other on the rail 4-5 inches from a side pocket. Try hitting the cueball so that it will bounce of one rail and pocket the object ball in the side pocket that they are next to. The key to this is to just barely hit the object ball so that it stops in front of the pocket. Apply left hand english to the cue to make it come back towards the pocket after the rail.

    3.       place an object ball on the edge of a corner pocket, place the cue ball in front of the opposite corner pocket on the shorter side of the table(It can be placed farther away to make shooting easier but should stay within 4 or five inches of the longer rail). Now shoot the cueball so that it pockets the object ball. The trick is you have to shoot on the insid eof the first diamond next to the corner diagonal to cue ball.

All of these are very possible. After your able to do these then you are ready to move onto more difficult shots. As for Masses you really should become roficient at shooting before you try it, and when i say proficient i mean really good. Also if you try them be very carefull as a lot of people who try doing them and dont know what there doing yet can rip the felt. And new felt can cost somewhere around $250. If you want to really work on something try and shoot an eight rail bank shot and land the cueball on a dollar bill sized area. Have fun figuring out how to that(one tip for that, keep your cue low and dont apply any top or bottom spin.

Oh, and have fun on your freinds new pool table.

  2. try a massee ... i can do it ..hold d cue vertically and make d ball turn 360 degrees ..

  3. Just get on the "net" and fish for "pool trick shots"  you tube has several on their site......have fun!!

  4. I can recommend an excellent book if you're interested in learning trick shots.  The book is by Robert Byrne and the title is "Treasury of Trick Shots in Pool and Billiards". It sells for $16.33 on Amazon.com and can be found in local bookstores such as Barnes and Noble.  I have a copy of this book and there are hundreds of trick shots in it.  The author diagrams the shot and explains the actions involved including stroke speed and English on the cue ball.  I guarantee that you'll like this book.
