me and a group of 3 friends were hanging out at the school at about 10pm- late i know, and we were just messing around on the swings, and then near the cafateria door - where a light is- to take a picture, and this car pulles up and is following us with it's lights. we get a little freaked out and go stand behind some dumpsters. we finally decide to walk home- and 4 COP CARS PULL UP. apperantly that car saw us pulling at the doors and trying to get in. they took our info, and checked our ppockets and it was terrifying. i asked if i could call my folks and they said not yet. after all the questioning and good cop bad cop, they said the school wouldnt press charges, but if we go up there again at night we will be arrsted. there was a camera there, and if they looked they would see we wernt breaking in!!! but i don't know whats going to happen now. we flagged down one of the cops and they said they wouldnt call our house, but what is going to happen? will this effect my college stuff? 3 of us have never been in trouble. im just really freaked out i dont knpw what to do... im sorry this is so long!

  1. White people...

  2. The cops didn't arrest you, and since you caused no damage to school property they can't sue you for anything. You can relax. But because the school has now specifically warned you not to be on the grounds after hours, you'll need to stay off or you could be charged with trespassing.

  3. if anything more than the verbal warning you received was going to be done, you most likely would have been issued a warning or a citation.  They would probably also have called your folks, since you are juveniles... so most likely if anything official was going to be done you and your folks would already know about it...

now unofficially because you live in a small town, word gets around and your parents may find out anyways but that's between you and them...

i wouldnt worry too much... it sounds like there is nothing more than a verbal warning and that wont go any farther than it has so it wont affect your college.. i also dont know where you live, but where i live little stuff like misdemeanors are generally "closed" when you become an adult so that a lot of the "trouble" you get into as a juvie doesnt have to be revealed when you become an "adult"...

  4. It seems like you need to obey the curfew law and be at home watching tv. Or doing your homework.
