Advice on washing a cut?

I cut my forehead on thursday evening. It bled for about 2 hours then it stopped. I went to the hospital on friday morning an they cleaned it all up and said it wasnt deep enough or big enough for stitches. So they put this glue solution on it to close it up. They told me not to get it wet for 5days. Im getting so frustrated because i have to have someone else to wash my hair for me! Would it be ok by now to get it wet? Surely the glue would have set?

If they said not to get it wet for 5 days then I wouldnt chance it! You have to give it those 5 days!

The glue will likely dissolve in water.

What you can do is get a little saran wrap and make a square a bit bigger than the cut and tape it securely on all four sides so water won't get in it while you wash.
