Advice please, I've had enough!?

Question

My sister makes terrible decisions and then the rest of the family pay for it. She is stuck in a bad relationship but then whinges about how great my other sisters and my relationships are!! The guy she is with is very smart in abusing her, ie he will mentally, emotionally and personally abuse her but then make it look like it is her fault, he will push her around but never hit her directly! Then to make things worse we get lectured from dad and mum about how we need to support her!! Grrrr....I have had it. If I say anything bad I am heartless, What do I do???

ur not heartless at all. ur looking out for ur sister. ur being a good brother and person in general. if i were u, and i heard of that a*****e abusing my sister again, i'd personally kik his ***. and make it look like he started it and u were using self defence. give him a taste of his own manipulative medicine

No matter what though, some people will never see what kind of relationship they are in until they are out of it. Sometimes it helps though to maybe express how happy you and your sisters are in their relationships and how nice the bfs are to you guys, so she can really compare what her bf is not doing right.

Also, boost up her self esteem. She probably does know that he is not good but may feel she can't do any better, so she stays with him. Be sure to help her feel confident first, give her a make-over, do her hair, change her style and see if that can help.
