I am a professional photography specializing in rescued cats and dogs. I am putting together a book of photos, but I am also trying to put together some content in it. Do you have any suggestions what you would like to see in it aside from stories of rescued animals in a book like that? its for charity

  1. • addresses/websites of national organizations for animal rescues or organizations that help with spaying/neutering

    • interview with shelter folks on what their life entails or what brought them to this field in the first place

    • drawings from children on what their new pet has done for their family. (a 9-yr old daughter of one of my staff wrote a "book" for a school project from the point of view of a dog on the streets finding a new forever home, complete with drawings. it was the cutest d**n thing.)

    • ways people can contribute to the animal cause: donations of money or supplies (specify some of the ones most shelters need like bleach, paper towels, litter, toys), giving time as a volunteer or board member, or even just spreading the word about spaying/neutering, etc.

it's a very interesting & compassionate idea...and like the person above, this is a book i'd have no problem spending my money on. (perhaps you should start taking names for buyers now, lol?)

  2. Pics of rescued dogs and cats when they were first brought in to the rescue centre (if possible) and if not then on their own looking a bit down, and then with their new family, kind of like a before and after shot?

I'd buy it, if it supports a good charity.
