Who sould I drop and trade? I know I need to get rid of a TE, a WR, and probably a DST. But what do I NEED?

  1. 1) - find someone with a worse defense than packers/49ers and offer one of your defenses to them (and tell them to drop their current one).  In exchange for this, ask for an upgrade to one of your WR (harrison).

    2) - you now need an upgrade at RB or at least a third RB if one goes down or Forte doesn't pan out since he's young.  I'd try and find a RB with upside that is ranked low (i.e. trade hester/driver (i'm down on driver with Rogers passing to him and don't like hester unless you get points for his returns) - trade one or both of these to  either get a third running back (I think Norwood will be better this year and can be picked up probably for nothing) or at least an upgrade over Forte/Maroney.

    3) Don't need to make any moves with QB or K.

    4) TE - there has to be someone better than Clark that you can have as a backup...I'd look for someone with consistent production on a team with a new/better QB.  Two chicago TE's is nuts.

    Good luck.

  2. you look pretty solid everywhere but at rb.think that's where you need to improve on ,otherwise a good team.

  3. What do you NEED?  You only have two RBs, one of whom is a completely untested rookie and the other is on a team that for the last couple of years has been much more of a passing team than a running one.  The good news is that Maroney will probably come on strong during the "fantasy playoff" weeks and at this point at least Forte is expected to be the starter in Chicago.  The bad news is that you don't have a whole lot to dangle as trade bait for a really good RB.  Maybe someone will take McNabb and one of your lesser WR.  Stallworth is getting a lot of hype as he transfers from NE to Cleveland- I think the hype is undeserved (the guy didn't really do much from a fantasy perspective on the highest-scoring offense in league history, so why is everyone so excited that he's moving to an offense that is merely very good?) but maybe you have an owner in your league who would trade you a good RB for McNabb and Stallworth.

  4. as a bear fan this breaks my heart to say this but drop hester and forte

clark is debateble. this is going to be a good fantasy year in chicago, not a good season.

rb get rashard mendenhall if he is availble. he is going to be the best of the rookie rb this year with nanjeh davenport dropped and willie parker being injured or will be injured within a game.

te i would pick up eric johnshon of the saints if he is availble. he get decent yardage or benjamin watson. i would say get cooley or witten, but if they are still availble you are playing in the short bus league

you look pretty solid on your WR so no prob there. i wouldnt play hester unless for some reason all your other teams are on byes. maybe pick up any of the top 3 4 recievers for the saints if possible.

defense: pick up the chargers, kansas city, minesota, or even new orleans. i have a great expectations all around this year for new orleans with colston become a great receiver and the pick up of vilma in the offseason.

  5. get rid of hester, 49ers and another runner

  6. You need a good dual threat running back, one that rushes and catches passes out of the backfield.  I would try to pawn off Harrison while he still has value.  I think that his legal issues will be a distraction for him this year, and he is already on the decline.  You may still be able to get good value for him.

I would also try to get a TE from a team that isn't splitting time between 2.

  7. you need help at every position except qb, but i doubt you'll find any help in the FA's at this point.

  8. We can definitely tell you're a Bears fan.  5 Bears on your roster will make for a painful bye week.

Your glaring weakness is at RB.  It is Matt Forte's job to lose, but Laurence Maroney wasn't even as good as Sammy Morris, a journeyman back, last season.

    You have several of paths...

    1. Drop the extra TE and/or Niners defense, and speculate on rookie RBs on your waiver wire.

    2. Package McNabb and another player for a second tier RB.

    3. Wait and see what happens in the preseason.  Do nothing, and let injuries and depth charts determine your next move.

You have a lot to work with, so sometimes the best move is nothing at all.
