Advirtisments that say you have won free stuff?

im sure many of you have gotten those advirtisments that say take a survey and give us your email and you get to choose a free labtop, or purse, or giftcard, or uggs, ect. I was just wondering if anyone knows if these actaully work, i only want you to let me know if your positive you dont get the prize or you do. also will you have to pay any type of fee? please answers soon
