Advise for setting up an account for AAU baseball team?

Question

I have started a new AAU baseball team and at this time am using my personal checking account. Each player/parent pays a one time fee which covers uniforms/hats, aau membership/insurance, umpires, field rentals, game balls etc. In order to open a bank account under the team name what if anything will I need to make this work?

show proof to the bank that you are in charge of the organizaiton with a business letter or something..as long as your name is registered in the account it will let you sign for checks made out to the team
