Advise for sick Ornate box turtle?

Question

My box turtle has not been eating, her eyes are closed and puffy. Also her limbs are swollen, I suspect a respiratory infection but I'm not sure. There is no bubbly mucus visible.

I increased the temp in the tank and have a incandescent light, during the day I put her out in the sun.

Anyone have any other ideas what I should be doing?

you need to get your tortoise to a reptile vet, your suspicions of a respiratory infection is most likely to be correct, you don't always get breathing problems and can get the symptoms of swollen limbs and puffy eyes it could just be an abscess somewhere but with out treatment it will get worse she needs treatment

take it to the vet immediately.  if you are unable to do that, please find a herp rescue or responsible person to take the turtle off your hands.
