  1. It sounds like you are doing it at roughly the right time, you need to do it 14 days before you are due on, so if your period is 27 days then you need to so it day 13.

My husband and I recently concieved and we did it 2 days before we estimated I was due to ovulate and then every 2 days after that, so if I was you, maybe make love on days 11, 13, 14, 16.

Make sure you stay laying down for at least 10 mins afterwards so that more is kept inside you and avoid positions where you are sitting or standing.  I also read that it can help if the woman has an o****m between 2minutes before and 30 minutes after the man has one (but it is not essential for the woman to o****m).

We took a pre-pregnancy multivitamin too and my husband took 'well man' vitamins as they have a big impact on the health of the sperm and egg.

Good luck to you, I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

  2. Use the ovulation calculator on this site to find out when you are due to be ovulating on your cycle: http://www.babycentre.co.uk/tools/ovu/

  3. i really couldnt say, my advice is try and stay relaxed and calm, the more stress you are the harder it will be.  Also after s*x try and stay in bed, dont get up for the toilet to give you more chance of the sperm staying in you.  One more tip! try s*x with man on top, apparently this is best position to get pregnant in!

  5. don't stress out, if your stressed you have a less chance of conceving, take a nice hot bath before you have s*x with lavenser candles to relax. but the main purpose is not to stress out.

  6. Every woman has a different cycle, but what most have in common is they ovulate around 14 days BEFORE their period begins.

Rather than counting from the start of your LAST period - a number of days which can vary from woman to woman - you'd be better off tracking how long your cycle is, perhaps along with certain easy to notice body signs like cervical mucous, and then figuring out when you are most likely ovulating.  In other words, get to know your body a bit better and conceiving will become easier, especially after a tubal reversal when you really need to stack the odds in your favour.

Another big plus is, if you know when you ovulate, just add 14 days and you'll know which day bring along tampons if you're expecting your period - or pregnancy tests if you're trying to conceive!

    Hope this helps!
